Eating Food is our daily routine in life, so we may encounter with frauds while undergoing this process. So India has implemented a necessary actions to be aware of frauds by issuing FSSAI registered license to the genuine food providers according to the Food Safety & Standard Authority of India Act, 2006. This act has been implemented to improvise the quality and hygiene of food. This act has bought the tremendous changes in the food world. So every food manufacturer and distributor must obtain the FSSAI registration or license to ensure safety for their food. FSSAI license has been registered under food safety and standard authority of India, which comes under ministry of Family health and welfare department, Government of India. In order to initiate a food business in India, one must abide the terms and conditions stipulated by FSSAI and one must submit all the valid documents, then concern department’s starts their work on your registration to deliver optimal results FSSAI registration can be either registered under state level or central level. Local food providers and manufacturers will be registered under state level. Large scale food providers with number of branches will be registered under Central license level. EXEMPTIONS FROM FSSAI Temporary stall holders, Small scale or other industries related to food business or tiny business operators of food are exempted to register from FSSAI VALIDITY OF FSSAI Registered FSSAI license will be valid up to two years, one can renew his/her registered license, according to their requirement.
