So incorporating a private limited company under foreign subsidiary company will be the cheapest, fastest, and easiest process to start business for foreign companies and foreign nationals in India.
        Registering a branch office or project office in India would require RBI and Government approval. So the time consuming and cost goes higher than the cost associated with private limited company. As foreign nationals cannot open branch in India, this process is limited to being an India entry strategy only for foreign companies.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR FOREIGN COMPANY REGISTRATION

  1. Directors of company must submit a copy of passport and address proof (ex: driving license, bank statement will be good enough).
  2. All original copies must be notarized at the home country or at the Indian embassy in the company of the foreign director.
